Idle Heroes Tier List Information
This Idle Heroes Tier List contains all of the most important information regarding to the best Heroes in the game for you, helping you build the best possible teams that beats the meta game.
Both PvP (Player-versus-Player) Heroes and PvE (Player-versus-environment) Heroes are mentioned on this page.
This Tier List is updated at least once every month regarding to the new balance changes or to the new metas in game.
There are just too many Artifacts in the game right now and it is why mentioning only the best artifacts is not great for casual and free-to-play players. I will try to avoid recommending specific Artifacts (I would, maybe in the near future). I will give you the Key Stats of them so you can easily understand which ones you should focus on while building up your team.
This list of best Heroes in Idle Heroes could be great for both PvE and PvP purposes. The strongest PvE Heroes will be mentioned.
- If you can’t find a Hero on the list, it means that Hero is not worth taking to beyond 10.
- All Heroes mentioned in the Tier List are the Heroes that worth taking to beyond 10.
- If a Hero is ranking higher than another, it does not mean that it is better in all situations.
- To build a great teams, you must focus on their synergies rather than only rankings. Make sure one’s skills can strengthen the other’s skills.

Note: Heroes in the same tier have the same ranking as they have different roles/properties.
Amen-Ra: Super OP (duh?)
Aida: Strong as ever (Very fast, HP-based Damage and a mark for Unbending Will (W).
Dark Arthindol: Crazy (Insane damage, finding some counter in UW)
Asmodel: Very Strong (Giving marks to counter UW, strong combo with Dark Arthindol).
Mihm: Strong as above (UW helps and there is still enough death)
Oberon: Strong, fast and much needed CC
Valkyrie: Strong but not as strong as one would expect
Aspen: Strong, still a good round 2 decider, getting to round 2 is the problem though.
Belrain, Kroos: Strong, support is still useful as is Kroos as a disruptor.
Hero Roles & Builds
|Crowd Control + Support||Speed/HP|
|Crowd Control + Damage||Speed/HP|
|Burst + Damage||Crit/Crit/Attack|
|Crowd Control + Damage||Speed/HP|
|Support + Healer||Speed/HP|
|Block + Last + Indirect||Attack/Attack|
|Crowd Control + Damage||Crit/Crit/Attack|
|Last + Damage||Crit/Crit/Attack|
|Crowd Control + Fast CC||Speed/HP|
|Last + Damage||Crit/Crit/Attack|
- The first role is more important than the second/third role. The second/third roles are alternative builds used in specific situations (e.g. second of the same hero in one team).
- Properties not listed are not critical for success.
- Heroes not listed are in my opinion not endgame material.
- Burst: Does a lot of damage early on, often as early as round 1. Build with speed stone, energy artifact and Growth (3) enable. Faith Blade is also good with crit/crit stone.
- Crowd Control: Disables opponents (stun, etc.). Build as Burst.
- Damage: Does a lot of damage. Build with crit/crit stone, crit artifact and Mightiness (2) enable.
- Fast CC: Does CC on basic attack. Build with speed stone, speed artifact and Growth (3) enable.
- Healer: Heals other heroes. Build with attack/attack stone, Attack artifact and Mightiness (2) enable.
- Indirect: Does indirect damage. Build with Holy Damage stone, Magic Stone Sword and Growth (3) enable.
- Block: Does damage or gets buffed by blocking. Build with Block stone and damage reduce artifact. Xia with Vitality (1) enable and Horus with Mightiness (2).
- Last: gets better over time. Maximize survivability with hp/hp stone, damage reduce artifact, Vitality (1) enable and split gear.
- Support: Buffs allies and/or debuffs opponents. Build as Burst.
- Exclusive: Has a very specific role in special (typically cheese) teams. Build Aidan to E3 with attack/attack stone and Kiss of Ghost. Keep Emily at 10* or even below, don’t invest in a stone.

|Alright burst but self buffs are’t triggered because opponents don’t die|
|Counter attack with self sustain. Can attack damage and debuffs opponent, increasing survivabilty.|
|Energy steal can be useful. Frail body and CC based design do not bring much to PvE.|
|Can tank damage but CC doesn’t come up in PvE. There are better choices if you need a PvE tank.|
|Primary based around petrify synergy and because CC rarely play a role in PvE, pretty useless.|

The Best END GAME Heroes of the Current Meta Are
The Best PVP Heroes Guide
What is Early Game? What is End Game?
- Early Game (0-600K Power): Before you have 1 E3 hero + 2 9-Star Support Heroes.
- Midgame (600K-1200K Power): When you have 2-4 E3 Core Heroes with 9-Star Support Heroes (such as Kroos or Heart Watcher).
- Late Game (2200K+ Power): When you have a relevant PvP/PvE team and start enabling your last supports.
- End Game: Full E3 Team with all Pay-to-win gears, having a few E3 copies of the same heroes (Aida, Mihm, Skerei, Oberon etc). Possible Full Dark/Light Teams.
Current Meta Game
The current meta matches happens very fast.
- PvE Teams can clean up each other very fast. Just few rounds. Loved by attackers.
- Rainbow teams last a bit longer, usually 4-5 rounds depending on the tanks.
- Team with more than one Valkyries can usually go past round 10.
In short, the current meta matches are very fast and burstly.
Best Stats for Heroes: CC Immunity + Damage Reduce.
Shadow Heroes are usually e used in Rainbow, Ruin or Auraless Teams.
They are usually Damage Dealers or heroes have strong CC.
Aidan suits the current meta better than Horus. Horus provides consistent DPS while Aidan provides a great burst damage.
Aidan can excellently thrive when other Heroes continuously get taken out, bursting tons of damage as possible during the first rounds.
Aidan provides a great additional burst damage to your Idle Heroes team. Pair Aidan up with several buff heroes (excellent if they can do the buff-and-die stuffs), he could reach even up to 2 million damage on each Hero of the enemy Team.
|Guaranteed burst damage||There is currently a bug that causes on-death damage not dealing any damage.|
|Gain benefits from the dead allies (crucial in this meta)||As he is the reactive Heroes, the results might vary depending on two teams.|
|Synergies perfectly with Dark Heroes like Mihm (Helps Mihm start the cascades) or Aspen (helps Aspend bring the enemies down to 35% HP threshold).||Team synergy is needed. You cannot put him in a random team.|
|Makes Warriors silenced for 2 rounds||He is Mage (Anti-Mage Artifacts are popular).|
|Provides Damage Reduce|
Great Build for Aidan: Attack/Attack + Kiss of Ghost + Full Mage Gear + 2-1-1 Enables + Ice Monster.
Horus is a very versatile Hero. People always have different builds for him.
At the moment, it seems hard for him to follow up the speed of PvP matches. Imagine when 5 Heroes are dead after round 1 and he is only able to block 2 attacks and hasn’t been able to stacked the passive up yet.
|Very versatile with flexible builds.||Kinda squishy if built for damage. He might get killed before dealing any serious damage.|
|Provides excellent damage if he survives 3 rounds||Not great at fast-paced matches.|
|Deals true damage on block.||Needs to be hit by other Heroes.|
|Pretty heavy burst damage.||No impact on Round 1.|
A great build for Horus: Crit/Crit/ATK, Magic Stone Sword, Full Warrior Gear, 1-1-1 Enables, Deer Monster.
She is kinda Horus with more CC, burst damage but is squishier.
|Non-Stun CC||Low HP|
|Pretty heavy burst damage||No Impact on Round 1|
|Mage (Anti-Mage Artifacts are popular)|
A great build for Jahra: Crit/Crit/ATK, Magic Stone Sword, Full Mage Gear, 1-1-1 Enables, Deer Monster.
Most Fortress items are excellent for Rainbow, Redemption or Auraless team.
Fortress is typically a support faction.
He is literally a stun beast who can also deal serious satisfactory damage to the enemy team.
He now stuns the enemies in a random order instead of in fixed pattern like before, which is another plus point, a great hidden buff for him.
|Excellent CC||Stun CC|
|Overload – One of the best passive skills in Idle Heroes; Stackable.||You need to choose between CC or Damage|
|Offers surprising damage||Mage (Anti-Mage Artifacts are popular)|
Great Build for Valentino: Speed/HP, Magic Source, Mage Set Boots Only, 3-1-1 Enables, Deer Monster.
Her buffs can easily get triggered in the first round and they are literally amazing for the late-end game.
E3 Emily is able to use the active skill consistently, providing more buffs/debuffs for the team.
She makes an instant impact to the battle. She is a great support If your team has the main damage dealers that scale with attack traditionally like Mihm, Aspen or Aidan.
|Mihm, Aspen, Aidan etc can deal tons of damage if both Emily active and passive skills are triggered.||Reactive hero|
|Hero buffs can stack. Multiple Emiiys are excellent for any Cheese team.||Passive cannot be triggered if she gets one-shoted|
|Able to buff when gets CCed.||Slow|
|Passive skill can pop up very fast due to the current meta.|
Great Build for Emily: Speed/HP, Magic Source, Priest Set Boots Only, 3-1-2 Enables, Griffin/Ice Monster.
Note that using this build, Emily could outspeed slow heavy damage dealer like Aspen, DA, Amuvor, FB etc. who could easily threaten her, preventing her from triggering the passive buff by taking her out with just one shot.
If your Priest tech is not maxed yet, there is a sweet spot when Aida uses her active and brings Emily to below 50%, and then Emily use her own active to trigger the Aida’s Mark in the next turn. Massive Damage Potential!
Ormus is kinda a defensive Emily.
In the current meta game, offense is more important than defense, that is why we rank Ormus below Emily. He has lower speed and HP.
Ormus is great in Redemption and Rainbow teams but Emily and Valentino are just better in those teams.
|Provides lots of heals||Reactive Hero|
|Needs Attack to provide impact heals|
|Aida is better|
|Heals applied after heroes taking damage|
Great build for Ormus: Attack/Attack, Lucky Candy Bar, HP Split Priest Set, 1 1 1 Enables, Deer Monster.
Most Abyss Heroes are great in Ruin, Rainbow or Auraless heroes.
They are the jack-trade of all factions.
From what Kroos could bring, he is somehow one of the best PvP heroes in the meta right now with Max HP based heals, damage output multiplier and free 100 Energy.
|Allows you to deal x1.5 more damage to weakened Heroes, providing a huge potential for burst damages.||Most CC heroes are faster than him.|
|The passive has a 75% chance to stun all enemies for 2 rounds. All heroes who are not CC immune will get stunned.|
|Free 100 Energy to a random ally.|
A great build for Kroos: Speed/HP, Magic Source, Priest Set Boots Only, 3-1-1 Enables, any monster.
They are great in Redemption, Rainbow, Full Forest or Auraless team.
Right now, obtaining a single E3 Valkyrie is pretty easy. Grab one for your team.
She could get up to 10-11M HP in battles. She heals when get CCed, she has True Damage, Attack Reduction/Steal to 3 enemies every time she attacks.
Having 2 or ore Valkyries in your team is such a huge thing.
Valkyrie stack is probably the best PVP syngery in Idle Heroes.
You will not lose any damage, utility or the tankiness when you replace any Hero in your team with the additional Valkyrie.
Currently the strongest non-DL team are
- Aida Aida Valkyrie Valkyrie Valentino Valentino (Ormus)
- Aida Aida Valkyrie Valkyrie Valkyrie Kroos
However, going with full Valkyries is not very wise as she lacks burst damage.
|Tons of HP 10.5-11.8M HP (depending on Monster/Aura)||Moderate Burst Damage that targets only one enemy|
|She heals and deals damage when CC’ed||Slow|
|All Damage Output based on her HP is true||Susceptible to CC|
|Reduce Attack by 12%|
|Steal 15% Attack|
A Great Build for Valkyrie: HP/HP, Rune’s Power, HP Split Ranger Gear, 1-1-1 Enables, Deer Monster.
They are great in many auras like Rainbow, GvE, Dark or Auraless
Dark Faction has insane damage dealers and some excellent CC mechanics
To be honest Mihm and Aspen comparision is pretty a tier but If you have to put either 2 Mihms or 2 Aspens in your team, pick Mihms!
He is an ultimate PvP reactive hero. He can just shit there, enjoying loads of buffs from the allies, waiting for someone to die and shines.
The amount of damage he could deal on a single death is insane.
If you have only one Mihm in your team, he could be the main damage dealer throughout rounds.
But If you have 2-3 Mihms in your team, it is the end of the game.
|CC Immune||Reactive Hero|
|30% Damage Reduce||He is Mage|
|Damage ouput when someone dies can ramp up to… the sky|
|Synergizes perfectly with support and burst Heroes|
|Decimates Light units|
|Great support Hero with petrify, debuffs and energy steal|
Good Mihm Build: Attack/Attack, Magic Stone Sword (Kiss of Ghost), Full Mage Gear, 3-1-1 Enables, Griffin/Ice/Deer Monster.
Aspen is excellent, but sadly is still slightly behind Mihm and Aida.
When the opposing team is at full HP, Aspen utilizes that 20% HP awesomely.
If the enemy team is already weakened, he can easily finish off Heroes below 35% HP.
Since he has the best scaling stats in Idle Heroes, he is literally a monster. However, short fights are too bad for him to maximize his potential stacks.
|Great survivability in the bursty meta||Sometimes too slow to follow up the fight. There are times when Aspen is finally good to deal damage, the battle is over.|
|Insane damage dealer|
|Can be either finisher or initiator depending on your team|
|Unique CC that stops abilities like Valkyrie attack debuff|
|Proactive Hero who can clears any team if left unchecked.|
|Finall skill can easily turn the fight around with extra heal and damage|
Great Build for Aspen: Speed/HP, Magic Stone Sword, Full Warrior Gear, 3-1-1 Enables, Griffin, Ice, Deer, Dragon Monster.
Light Heroes shine in Rainbow, GvE, Redemption, Full Light and Auraless Teams.
Aida is the best Light Hero you want to focus on right now.
She is super strong and is the fastest Hero in Idle Heroes right now.
There are three main ways for you to build the Aida.
- The most popular build is to build for the max speed by using Energy article. This build guarantees 25% HP off the opposing team in the first round.
- Crit build: This makes her a serious burst damage dealer as she targets 4 enemies at once, dealing 260% of her attack. She has 100% Holy Damage and the active skill has 100% Armor Break. It is very easy to get her damage to 4M.
- Tanky Build: This works pretty well when your team has multiple Aidas. Just stack your Fearless Armors up and chill. Multiple Aidas force the enemies to kill themselves in just 2 turns.
|Guaranteed damage||She is Mage|
|True damage based on HP||Last passive does not work when gets CCs too much.|
|Passive reduces healing effect|
|Passive skill chips away the enemies|
|30% Damage Reduce is enough to keep her alive.|
Great Aida Build: Crit/Crit/Attack, Magic Stone Sword, HP Split Mage Gear, 1-1-1 Enables, Dragon Monster.
She is indeed a great support. She is a perfect mix of Emily and Ormus.
|Offensive + Defense Support||Very slow|
|Great suicide hero||You need to choose between top tier healer and fast buff hero.|
|Insane heals last 5 rounds and not affected by the opponent’s Aida||Heals after heroes take damage.|
Great Belrain Build: Speed/HP, Demon Bell, Priest Set, 3-1-1 Enables, Griffin Monster.
She is such a epitome of the consistency. At the end stage of a RNG game, the consistency is what matters.
She is pretty fast, has a 40% chance to stun 4 enemies. She is CC immune, she has a great heal that gives crit chance (perfect for Aida). And she can respawn.
She is insane.
|Solid CC pick for any team.||Sometimes the revive is bugged|
|Repawns after Mihms on both sides kill all and win the game.||Bad vs Lucky Candy Bar.|
Great Build for Michelle: Speed/HP, Magic Source, Ranger Set Boots Only, 3-1-1 Enables, Griffin Monster.
